Fulbridge are hiring a new team of Supportive Living Workers who are enthusiastic, motivated and care enough to make a difference.If you want to work in a unique environment where your efforts will enhance the quality of life for our service users, then we need you.Fulbridge Social Care require staff teams for numerous shift patterns within elderly care homes and support living settings.We are taking on trainee and qualified candidates as we offer full support, training including the Care Certificate, First Aid, Medication Administration and the opportunity to gain qualifications in this field.Please note that you would be required to complete an enhanced DBS with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully complete one of our induction assessments prior to any placements being offered.We require individuals who have the confidence, patience and skill set to successfully work with our service users and make a positive impact on their lives. In this role, you will be part of a team to support service users throughout the day with basic tasks as supporting with meal preparation, personal care, cleaning and shopping.Main duties and responsibilities :Build strong professional relationships with the service users and other members of staffMaintain a safe, clean and enjoyable environment for service user’s s to live and for you to workTo keep up to date with all communication / information systemsAttend and take an active part in meetings as appropriateTo promote equality, acknowledging individual’s differencesProtect service users from any form of abuse from staff, visitors or service usersWrite accurate reports for reviews and keep written records for monitoring purposesAttend work reliably and punctually and to follow a set shift patternEnsure you keep yourself up to date with all procedures and policy changesTake responsible care for the health and safety of yourself and othersUndertake any other additional duties as required, which are relevant to the postPerson Specification: Ability to form professional relationships with service usersAbility to read and understand written work and to write clear and accurate reportsAbility to communicate clearly and easily with service users in a variety of waysAbility to go wherever service users want to go and participate in all activitiesAbility to work as directed and complete tasks reliably and to a high standardAbility to participate in training and developmentAbility to follow a work pattern and to attend work punctually and reliablyAwareness of what effective teamwork isAwareness of the general health, safety and welfare of service usersNumerous shift patterns available including: 8am – 4pm4pm – 11pm11pm – 7am (waking nights)…
