Quality Manager – £60K+ | Basildon | Manufacturing
Are you an experienced Quality Manager or a senior quality professional ready to take the next step? We are looking for a skilled Quality Manager to join a leading manufacturing company in Basildon.

- Monday – Thursday: 8 AM – 5 PM
- Friday: 8 AM – 2 PM (early finish!)
The Role
As a Quality Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with AS9100 REV:D standards, supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations, and working closely with customers to address quality-related issues. Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS)
Leading internal and external audits
Managing SCAR responses and corrective actions
Overseeing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIs)
Supporting failure trend analysis and continuous improvement projects
Collaborating with production, inspection, and engineering teams
Providing mentoring, training, and quality toolbox talks
What We’re Looking For
✔️ Experience in a Manufacturing environment
✔️ Strong knowledge of AS9100 QMS standards & FAIs
✔️ Customer-facing experience in quality management
✔️ Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
✔️ Excellent communication and leadership abilities
