CNC Turner – Programmer, Setter & Operator

Salary: £18.00 – £20.00 per hour + Overtime + Performance Bonus

We are working with a leading precision engineering firm in Poole, known for delivering high-quality machining solutions. Due to growth, they seek an experienced CNC Turner Programmer, Setter & Operator with Fanuc & Manual Guide experience.

The Role

This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced subcontract precision engineering environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Programming, setting, and operating multi-axis CNC lathes using Fanuc & Manual Guide controls
• Manufacturing precision components from various materials
• Handling prototype and medium-batch production
• Conducting first-off inspections
• Maintaining a clean, organised workstation

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

• Subcontract precision engineering experience with frequent job changes
• Strong Fanuc & Manual Guide programming knowledge
• Experience with bar feed CNC lathes
• Ability to set up/reset machines multiple times daily
• Attention to detailed deburring and quality inspections
• A proactive work ethic and ability to manage multiple machines

Working Hours

• Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
• Friday: 7:30am – 1:30pm (40-hour week)
