Materials Controller

We are working with our client who are a leading who are a leading CNC and Manual machining company based in Durham who serve the offshore and renewables industries in the search for a Materials controller / Goods in Good out on a permanent basis

Your primary role is to manage the ERP system and organise the goods in goods out process for the business whilst continually managing and improving this.

Responsibilities

• Raising purchase orders through ERP system for Goods/Despatch consumables
• Booking goods in/out through ERP system
• Monitor and report discrepancies and non-compliance
• Packing products ready for shipping
• Arranging couriers and monitoring despatch
• General housekeeping duties
• Driving for deliveries and collections
• Stock control – booking stock in and out of ERP system

The Person:

• It literate and able to work with computer systems
• ERP experience
• Goods in / Goods out experience
• FLT Licence desirable
• Driving license essential
