Property Litigation Solicitor

Job Title: Property Litigation SolicitorSalary: Up to £65K DOEHours: Full TimeLocation: Newport, Hybrid/Remote

OVERVIEW

A highly ranked Legal 500 firm is looking for an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor. You will have the flexibility you need to accommodate life outside of work; most of the staff go in once a week to touch base, but you are welcome to go in more if this is what you prefer. As long as you have a high standard of client care and attend to clients’ needs, they understand that we don’t always need to be present in the office.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:

1. Manage a caseload of property litigation matters including disputes involving rights of way, prescriptive easements, adverse possession, restrictive covenants, boundary disputes, and landlord and tenant matters.
2. Prioritise work and meet deadlines.
3. Have demonstrable knowledge and technical expertise in dealing with a dispute’s caseload.
4. Engage in business development and cross-refer clients through the firm.
5. Delegate work to and supervise paralegals and trainees.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

1. UK qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with a solid background in Property Litigation matters.
2. Strong track record of securing successful outcomes for clients and excellent negotiation skills.
3. A genuine interest in working on high-quality Dispute Resolution matters for high-net-worth individuals is essential; business development experience or an existing client base would be a plus.
