St Austin’s Catholic Primary School is looking for an Extended Schools Teaching Assistant to support our after-school programme and help make each day special for our pupils.About the Role:You will help deliver a range of activities, support children’s needs, and ensure they have an enjoyable experience outside of classroom hours. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant school setting and contribute to the growth and development of young learners.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the supervision of pupils during after-school activities.
- Help set up and lead engaging activities, such as arts, crafts, games, and group play.
- Provide care and support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage teamwork and inclusion.
- Support the tidying and organisation of activity spaces.
About You:We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with children and has a friendly, caring attitude.
- Has excellent communication skills and works well as part of a team.
- Is organised, proactive, and flexible.
- Has experience working with primary-aged children (desirable but not essential).
