We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Officer to join our customer on a 6-month contract basis. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in compliance, particularly in fraud prevention, risk assessment, and regulatory adherence. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the compliance framework, ensuring robust controls are in place to mitigate risks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive fraud prevention frameworks and response plans.
- Conduct fraud risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including ECCTA and Failure to Prevent Fraud Guidance.
- Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across the organization to promote a culture of compliance.
- Provide expert guidance on compliance-related matters to senior management and operational teams.
- Support project management initiatives related to compliance programs and audits.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a compliance role, with a focus on mid-senior to senior positions (e.g., Senior Manager, Business Partner).
- Proven track record in designing and implementing fraud prevention frameworks and response plans.
- Strong understanding of ECCTA legislation and Failure to Prevent Fraud Guidance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage effectively at all levels.
- Strong project management skills are highly desirable.
