Job Title: DevOps Test Lead
Location: Cheltenham
Clearance Required: BPSS / DV (Ideally with PU) – Must have held Cobalt clearance for more than 12 months
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Test Lead to support the testing and release of a client system. In this role, you will work closely with the development team to ensure high-quality software releases. You will be responsible for maintaining and running the project’s CI system, developing new tests, and implementing best DevOps practices to streamline the testing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead testing efforts for software developed within the project.
- Support formal software releases through rigorous testing and validation.
- Maintain and optimize the Continuous Integration (CI) system.
- Develop new automated tests to validate new functionalities.
- Collaborate with the development team to improve testing processes and deployment strategies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Agile delivery and DevOps practices.
- Strong Linux and server administration skills.
- Proficiency in Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline management.
- Hands-on experience in software testing, preferably using:
- Cypress, Cucumber (test automation frameworks).
- JavaScript and Java (desirable).
Security Clearance:
- BPSS / DV clearance required.
- Cobalt clearance must have been held for 12+ months.
