Pay rate: £140 per full-day / £70 per half-day

We are looking for Casual Trainers to deliver First Aid at Work and Fire Marshal training in the Leicester area. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your expertise and make a real impact by giving learners the confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations.

About the Role:

As a Casual Trainer, you will deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions to professionals from various industries, including healthcare, utilities, and public services. More than just teaching skills, you’ll be empowering people to make a difference in their workplaces and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver First Aid at Work (1-day courses) and Fire Marshal training (half-day courses) using a structured curriculum.
  • Create an interactive and engaging learning environment with hands-on training.
  • Ensure all training meets required standards and aligns with the organisation’s training approach.
  • Conduct dynamic risk assessments at training venues.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and assessments accurately..

What you will need:

  • Level 3 Certificate in Learning and Development or equivalent (e.g. AET, PTLLS).
  • Assessing qualification (Assessing vocationally related assessments – AVRA) or equivalent (e.g. AVRA, CAVA, ACWE, A1 D32/33).
  • Proven experience delivering First Aid and/or Health & Safety training.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel to training venues.
  • Ability to perform CPR on a manikin on the floor.
