Marketing Manager

Millennium Hotels UK is seeking a Marketing Manager to oversee the marketing, social media, and e-commerce aspects of its UK-based hotels. This pivotal position involves collaboration with the Central Sales Office Team to craft and execute the annual marketing strategy. The role requires a keen analysis of local market trends and competitor actions to maximize revenue from diverse sources.

Under the guidance of the Global Marketing Team, the Marketing Manager will take charge of both the development and implementation of the yearly marketing agenda. This individual will guarantee that all content is current, precise, and tailored to effectively engage the target market, with a focus on stimulating business growth. Candidate must be meticulous in execution, ensuring that all work adheres to brand guidelines and meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Community Development and Management: Responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive community strategy aimed at fostering and expanding our client and candidate networks. This role involves initiating and overseeing activities that cultivate community growth and encourage active participation.
  • Brand Management: Elevate the Pivotal brand through strategic messaging and storytelling, ensuring our value proposition is consistently communicated across all marketing materials.
  • Design Excellence: Create and maintain visually impactful marketing collateral that resonates with our audience and upholds the Pivotal brand standard.
  • Data-Driven Reporting & Insights: Regularly analyse community and marketing metrics, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement and strategy refinement. Organize, track and surface data trends on Google Analytics.
  • Social Media Management: Managing and enhancing the company's presence across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Responsibilities will encompass content creation tailored to each platform, engaging with the community, increasing brand awareness, monitoring analytics to gauge performance, and executing targeted advertising campaigns. The candidate should be adept at adapting strategies to suit the unique characteristics and audience of each social media platform.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align marketing objectives with business goals. Foster strong relationships with senior management, sales teams, external partners, and vendors to drive successful delivery of marketing campaigns.

Required Skills

  • Campaign Management: Ability to oversee and execute various marketing campaigns from conception to completion. This encompasses setting objectives, budgeting, scheduling, content creation, multi-channel coordination, performance tracking, and reporting, with a consistent eye on ROI and marketing objectives.
  • Design Proficiency: Skilled in using tools like Adobe InDesign, and Canva to create high-quality visual assets for digital and print media.
  • Creative Strategy Development: Demonstrated ability to devise innovative design concepts and community engagement tactics that are in harmony with the brand's goals. This involves a blend of creative thinking and strategic planning to develop compelling initiatives that resonate with target audiences and reinforce the brand's vision.
  • Organisational Acumen: Solid project management capabilities, with a talent for coordinating cross-channel content and marketing initiatives.
  • Email Marketing: Proficiency in using Mailchimp (or similar platform) to design, send, and track email marketing campaigns.
  • SEO: Interested in SEO principles and tactics to increase organic search visibility and rankings.
  • CRM: Effectively utilising CRM software to organise, analyse, and act on customer data
