Asset Manager – Solar Energy

Reading – Hybrid

up to £95,000 + package

A leading renewable energy company is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee the performance, reliability, and profitability of its growing solar portfolio. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in solar plant operations, financial analysis, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and optimise solar asset performance to maximise energy output and efficiency.
• Manage financial aspects, including revenue tracking, cost analysis, and contract administration (PPA, cPPA, CfD).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements.
• Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams, O&M providers, and external stakeholders to drive performance improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in engineering, renewable energy, business administration, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in asset management, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of solar technologies, financial modelling, and asset performance analysis.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
