Responsibilities | End to end account management including achievement of sales targets, maintenance of existing client relationships and generation of new client relationships.
Salary | Salary £40-45k plus 15% uncapped commission (realistic OTE in year 1 up to £80k)
⌚ Hours | 9am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Location | Showroom based, Clerkenwell when not meeting clients
We are looking for an organized, personable, and proactive Salesperson. As you expect, your focus will be ensuring every client receives a smooth, accurate and professional service. The varied tasks include everything from proactively securing sales with new and existing customers, to keeping the client fully and appropriately updated throughout the order, delivery and installation stages.
You may also be supporting across the team providing coverage across tasks to ensure that clients receive a first class service at all times. Our client has a small team with the focus on delivering a first class service, as such it is very important to employ someone who is a team player and prepared to turn their hand to whatever is required to ensure all clients receive the highest level of service possible.
Examples of the tasks you will have the opportunity to deliver are:
- gathering pricing, raising quotes in the company standard
- proposing alternatives where indicated
- ensuring paperwork is kept up-to-date in a timely manner
- maximising delivery efficiency whilst liaising with the appropriate install team and client.
You will also
- build our brand through relationships with the Dealer and Architects & Designers
- maintain our customer relationships through understanding their needs and requirements
- occasionally attend events/networking outside of core hours.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
- Demonstrable experience of exceptional customer service and account management within the commercial furniture industry
- A positive, proactive approach with a commitment to excellent customer service
- Organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, in particular Excel and Word.
- An ability to work independently while ensuring colleagues are kept updated
- Knowledge of how quality office furniture solutions impact workplace productivity and success.
