DESCRIPTION
Amazon is looking for a talented, smart, and enthusiastic Senior Product Manager to focus on managing part of the Softlines Private Brands product family under Amazon Essentials in Europe. Private Brands is a long-term growth opportunity for Amazon.
You will need to:
- Understand market segment trends and landscape for your category to create strategic and immediate operating plans for your category
- Have a strong grasp of P&L input levers
- Thrive in ambiguous work environments
- Be a smart, hard-working and creative person who loves products, loves solving difficult problems and “getting it done”
- Be comfortable collaborating and influencing team members including retail, sourcing, legal, patent and product compliance
- Have strong project management abilities to drive scalable initiatives on behalf of the private brands business
Key job responsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for delivering:
- Top and bottom line growth for the categories under your remit
- Creating a data-driven long-term roadmap for each category
- Identifying new product development opportunities and current products in need of refresh
- Driving the success of new product launches

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition– Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology– Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights– Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product– Experience in using analytical tools, knowledge of Excel at an advanced level and SQL
