Hgv Class 1 Driver

• LOCATION: Widnes

• PAY: £16.00 PAYE or £21.29 including holiday pay

Rapid Time Recruit Limited acting as an Employment Business is currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 drivers operating walking floor on behalf of our client in Widnes, this is on an ongoing basis Monday – Friday with available weekends.

Role of a Class 1 C+E Driver:

• Walking floor trailers both manual and automatic delivering woodchip to power stations.
• Start times NIGHTS 16:00pm – 18:00apm
• Start times DAYS 04:00am – 06:00am
• Mon – Fri, Tue – Sat, Sun – Thur (Various Available)
• Average 12 – 13- hour shifts

Class 1 C+E HGV drivers will require:

• Valid UK HGV licence (C+E) for 1 year or more.
• Must have a minimum 6-month previous HGV driving experience.
• Previous walking floor experience is preferred but not essential.
• Digital tachograph card CPC card.
• Always be professional and presentable.
• Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.
• Must not hold any more than 6 points on your license.
• No IN10, DR10, DG10, CD10 or TT99

PAYE rates are:

• DAYS £14.75 Plus holiday accrual or £16.53 Including Holiday accrual
• NIGHTS £16.00 Plus holiday accrual or £17.93 Including Holiday accrual
• SAT £17.50 Plus holiday accrual or £19.61 Including Holiday accrual
• SUN £19.00 Plus holiday accrual or £21.29 Including Holiday accrual
• Min 8 hours paid
