Job Description

Our client is looking for a junior Underwriting Administrator to provide general support to the Underwriting Assistant and Executive Director of this global energy insurance underwriting business. Responsibilities will include:

• Input of data onto the risk system
• Assisting with bordereaux entries
• Assisting with production of wordings
• Producing reports for management where required
• Performing general administrative duties where required by other staff members

This is a fantastic opening, and perhaps a first step into the London market. This opportunity could suit an A level leaver, or possibly someone with some insurance administration experience from a regional based company. It will offer you extremely good exposure to the underwriting business, a steep learning curve, and good contact with brokers. This role would suit an individual who can see themselves working for a very small, bespoke company as an advantage.
