Position: Residential Home Manager (Children's Services)
Location: Stafford, Staffordshire
Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum + Benefits

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the residential home and ensure its efficient operation in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and the Statement of Purpose.
- Support a team of adults working with young people to achieve the highest care standards.
- Involve in recruitment activities, including vetting, interviewing, and inducting new staff members.
- Contribute to the development of a comprehensive team training and development programme to meet the diverse needs of the young people.
- Help to ensure strong employee retention through support and leadership.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet the care needs of both new and existing children and young people.
- Be accountable for liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure the home's operations comply with all required standards.
- Register with regulatory organisations and uphold the required conditions for the service.
- Participate in the on-call system and undertake any other duties as required.
Job Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or Children and Young People's Services, or a willingness to work towards it.
- Proven experience at a senior level in a residential children's home.
- A full, clean manual driving licence.
- Commitment to continued professional development in line with the needs of the children and young people in your care.
