In this role, you will be responsible for leading and delivering functional analysis for cross-vertical and cross-domain change initiatives on behalf of Trading IT. This involves collaborating with stakeholders across multiple areas to ensure seamless integration and alignment of change activities with the organisation’s strategic goals. You will act as a key point of contact for translating business requirements into actionable insights, driving clarity and precision throughout the analysis process.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As the Cross Functional BA Lead, you’ll be responsible for conducting comprehensive business efficiency analysis. You will evaluate current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide well-informed recommendations that align with the organisation’s strategic direction. By analysing operational performance and identifying inefficiencies, you will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable improvements and optimising business outcomes.
- Working closely with Senior Business stakeholders to identify and understand their strategic landscape and working closely with all vertical Functional leads to ensure requirements are clear, prioritised, and in sync with the agreed roadmap.
- Support project planning, overall delivery across the verticals, quality, and the continuous development of functional IT architecture.
- Ensuring that change initiatives and priorities are aligned with the organisation’s overall business strategy and objectives.
- Foster effective collaboration between business and IT to ensure alignment and clear understanding of the roadmap as well as when delivering all commercial change/projects and be able to steer and influence all parties to ensure solutions meet business and IT value strategically and efficiently.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
To excel in this position, you will need a university degree complemented by a BCS qualification. You should bring extensive experience managing change within the Energy domain, specifically across the deal lifecycle. A proven track record of business analysis experience in the Energy industry, coupled with expertise in managing complex change initiatives within Agile delivery frameworks, is essential for success in this role.
We also require an individual with strong attention to Risk and Issue Management. You will need experience in acting as a point of escalation for Domain Verticals for functional requirements and be able to ensure that the Domain leadership team are kept appraised of all critical risks and issues in a timely manner.
