Role: External Sales
Location: London
Pay rate/Salary: Base Salary £40k to £50k + Bonus Available
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday
Type: Permanent – Office/Field based
Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)
My client is a leading Electrical Wholesaler, one of the largest in the UK, they are recruiting for Regional Sales Managers across London.
The Role of Sales Manager:
- Growing and increasing sales in the branch’s geographical area.
- Continually identifying and developing new and existing business accounts.
- Developing strong customer relationships to maximise the full potential of all accounts.
- The ability to not be afraid of rejection, be it on the phone or face to face.
- Working as part of a tightly knit team to achieve high standards of business excellence.
Essential Sales Manager Skills:
- Electrical Wholesale experience.
- Cold calling on the telephone willingness and tenacity.
- The ability to approach companies direct, understanding how to spot a suitable target company.
- Able to demonstrate sample products confidently face to face to potential clients.
- The ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
- The ability to independently plan, organise and work to tight deadlines.
- Smartly presented portraying a professional company image.
- A valid UK driving licence.
Desirable Sales Manager Skills:
- Punctual, reliable and able to demonstrate effective time management.
- Career focussed, hardworking and ambitious.
- Strong telephone skills.
- Positive, ambitious and driven with excellent listening/communication skills.
- Experience of the wholesale industry would be advantageous but not essential.
