2 x part time vacancies available: 18.5hrs within the Private Fostering team and 20hrs within the Children in Care team

Key Requirements:

  1. Proven administrative experience in a busy office environment.
  2. Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a professional and empathetic approach.
  4. High level of discretion and understanding of confidentiality requirements.
  5. Proficient in IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  6. Ability to take clear and accurate minutes in sensitive and potentially distressing settings.
  7. Experience of diary management for Senior Officers.
  8. Experience of accurate data inputting, collation and analysis of data.

There are a few office-based vacancies available for Business Support Admin Officers in the Children’s Social Care Service. Candidates need to have good interpersonal skills, resilience, dependability, and strong organisational abilities. Key responsibilities include arranging sensitive meetings, minute-taking, and managing confidential information with precision and accuracy at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive administrative support to one or more Children’s Social Care teams.
  2. Arrange, coordinate, and service sensitive and confidential meetings, including Child Protection Conferences and Looked After Children reviews.
  3. Take accurate and timely minutes for complex meetings, ensuring all information is recorded appropriately and shared securely.
  4. Manage and maintain confidential records and systems in line with data protection requirements.
  5. Liaise professionally and sensitively with internal staff, external agencies, children, and families.
  6. Ensure accurate input and updating of case information onto relevant databases and systems.
