Backend Java Developers – Financial Accounting & Derivatives – London (Hybrid) – Inside IR35

Our client, a top-tier investment bank, is developing a new product and needs experienced Backend Java Developers to develop it.

They’re looking for engineers who know their way around:

1. Core Java (immutability, clean OOP design)
2. Concurrency (threads, visibility, synchronisation, pooling)
3. Microservices (domain/event-driven architecture)
4. Infra as Code (Ansible, code repos, observability, infra improvements)

Bonus points for Financial Accounting and OTC Derivatives knowledge; this is a finance project at its core.

Location: Canary Wharf, London – Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week)Contract: Inside IR35
