HGV Driver

The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking Class 1 / C+E Drivers for one of our key clients in Basingstoke. This is part time, but consistent work. Will consist of at least two to three days a week. Rate of Pay:

• £18.00 per hour (minimum of 8.5 hours, Monday to Friday)
• Hours of work:
• ADHOC Work
• Staggered start times

Responsibilities of the Class 1 Driver:

• Operate a Class 1 vehicle from Basingstoke to various locations
• Load and unload of vehicle with use of roll cages
• Perform complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle (tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls.)
• Report any safety issues on standard reports.
• Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely.
• Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all tasks are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

Requirements of the Class 1 Driver:

• To be able to successfully pass a driving assessment
• Category C+E Licence.
• CPC.
• Digi Tacho.
