We’re working with a prominent facilities management provider, known for delivering exceptional environments across the UK. As part of their continued investment in Procurement excellence, we're hiring a Senior Buyer to join their Corporate Functions team – supporting category leadership across Hard Services, including repair and maintenance.

This is a high-visibility role for a commercially sharp procurement professional ready to drive cost optimisation, improve supplier performance, and contribute to category strategy across a dynamic and fast-paced business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the Category Manager and Procurement Business Partners across the Hard Services (repair & maintenance) category.
  • Driving category strategy execution, sourcing initiatives, and performance tracking.
  • Leading RFIs and RFPs – from data gathering to contract award – ensuring commercial and operational value.
  • Managing supplier relationships and tracking KPIs, performance, and compliance in line with strategic objectives.
  • Supporting the contract renewal pipeline and assisting in the development or cessation of framework agreements.
  • Engaging with stakeholders across the business to understand operational needs and drive procurement best practices.
  • Using tools like Coupa and Provalido to monitor procurement metrics, savings delivery, and supplier scorecards.
  • Championing ethical sourcing, ESG compliance, and modern slavery commitments across the supply chain.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in procurement within hard services, maintenance, or technical services.
  • Strong category management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a complex, multi-site environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable using procurement systems (P2P), Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
  • Commercially astute, analytically strong, and solutions-focused.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience (MCIPS desirable).
  • A team player who’s confident leading conversations with suppliers and internal stakeholders alike.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
