YOUR ROLE
Our Air Operations team in Heathrow, London, seeks a customer-focused Air Export Coordinator responsible for delivering superior customer and operational service daily.
This role involves working a 4 on, 4 off shift from 18:30 to 06:30.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Arrange shipments according to customer instructions, SOPs, and quotations.
- Open job files and coordinate collections.
- Book shipments with airlines.
- Handle cargo tie-ups, ensuring security and transfer to transport.
- Complete customs entries compliant with HMRC and Master Airway Bill standards.
- Liaise with airlines and handling agents.
- Support customers with costing and invoicing.
- Monitor shipment status, resolve active shipment incidents.
- Act as the front line for operational processes, both internally and for customers.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Successful candidates will have experience in freight forwarding or air operations, preferably in pharmaceutical or aerospace sectors. You should be IT literate, proficient in MS Office, detail-oriented, and organized to handle a fast-paced environment.
