Teaching Assistant – Secondary School
Location: Hounslow, West London Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (Potential for Permanent Role) Pay: 90-100 per day Hours: 8:30am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded secondary school in the London Borough of Hounslow, starting in September 2025. This role is full-time and will initially run until the end of the term, with a strong chance of becoming a permanent position for the right candidate.
About the Role
This is an ideal position for anyone looking to start or further a career in education. The successful candidate will:
- Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Help students access the curriculum and reach their full potential
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

- Large, mixed secondary school (ages 12-18)

- Supportive and collaborative SEN department, led by an experienced SENCo
- Easily accessible via public transport
Requirements
To be considered, applicants must:
- Hold a degree
- Have an Enhanced DBS Disclosure
- Provide professional references
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment (where possible)
